Over 1000 signatures collected in July and August 2023 on petition to Governor Huckabee Sanders to provide funds to repair the water and wastewater systems of Elaine, Lakeview and Helena- West Helena, Phillips County.
Speaking at City Council
Residents spoke at Elaine and Helena West Helena City Council encouraging Mayors and Council going to the Governor for grant funds for repair of the water systems and lines.
Meeting with Governor
Residents of Elaine, Lakeview and Helena West Helena and the and Mayor of Lakeview met with Governors staff to deliver the petition and ask for grant funds for the replacement of the water systems.
